The Lagos State Ministry of Tourism, Arts and Culture is set to hold a stakeholders’ engagement summit to ensure a smooth and well-coordinated festive season across the state.

Eko Hot News reports that the summit, scheduled for Thursday, 27th November 2025 at the Lagos Continental Hotel, Victoria Island, will bring together key representatives from hospitality, entertainment, events, transportation, and security sectors. The meeting will focus on strategies to manage the annual surge in tourism activities during the Yuletide period.

Apart from these groups, venue owners, event promoters, private operators, and relevant government agencies involved in event coordination are expected to participate fully in the discussions.

Speaking ahead of the engagement, the Commissioner for Tourism, Arts and Culture, Mrs. Toke Benson-Awoyinka, said the summit will harmonise efforts with major stakeholders to ensure the safety, comfort, and satisfaction of both residents and visitors throughout December.

She noted that as Nigeria’s entertainment and cultural capital, Lagos must uphold top standards in security coordination, crowd management, traffic control, and service delivery during the festive season.

According to the Commissioner, the initiative aligns with the state government’s commitment to enhancing the tourism experience, promoting responsible celebration, and positioning Lagos as the preferred destination for leisure, entertainment, and cultural expression during the Yuletide.

She reaffirmed that the Ministry will continue to collaborate with partners to minimise risks and ensure all concerts, festivals, parties, and cultural events scheduled for December proceed seamlessly.
