The Governor of Lagos State, Mr Babajide Sanwo-Olu, has received the immediate past President of Ethiopia, H.E. Sahle-Work Zewde, at Lagos House, Marina, in Lagos.
Eko Hot News reports that the former Ethiopian leader visited the Governor alongside Mrs Kemi Ajumobi, Founder and Group Chief Executive Officer of Inspiring Women Africa, as part of engagements aimed at strengthening cross-border dialogue and leadership collaboration.
Governor Sanwo-Olu said the meeting focused on leadership, public service, and the opportunities that emerge when African leaders engage beyond national boundaries.
He noted that such interactions help foster mutual understanding, shared values, and innovative ideas that can drive sustainable development across the continent.
The Governor described the visit as a valuable exchange of perspectives, particularly on empowering women, strengthening governance, and promoting pan-African cooperation.
