He described housing as a central pillar of the state’s development agenda, closely linked to infrastructure, transportation, energy supply, and economic opportunity.

The governor disclosed that the state government is investing in roads, rail, and essential services, strengthening regulation through the Lagos State Real Estate Regulatory Authority (LASRERA), and promoting innovation across the housing value chain.
He added that affordable housing is being positioned as a viable economic sector driven by strong public-private partnerships to meet the needs of a growing population.
Sanwo-Olu reaffirmed Lagos State’s commitment to collaboration with local and international partners, noting that such partnerships are critical to building a city anchored on innovation, sustainability, and shared prosperity.
