Lagos State Governor, Mr Babajide Sanwo-Olu, has commended outstanding public servants for their dedication, integrity and consistent service to the state.
Eko Hot News reports that the governor spoke at a special luncheon held in honour of the 2025 Outstanding Public Servants of Lagos State at the Adeyemi Bero Auditorium, Alausa.
Governor Sanwo-Olu noted that public servants who work with commitment and professionalism deserve recognition, stressing that many contribute quietly but significantly across ministries, departments and agencies.
He described the award as a way of celebrating excellence and encouraging a culture of responsibility, leadership and ethical conduct within the public service.
The governor personally congratulated recipients of car prizes, thanking them for choosing public service despite its demands and limited public recognition.
According to him, rewarding diligence and integrity motivates others to improve performance and reinforces the values required for effective governance.
Sanwo-Olu added that Lagos continues to make progress because dedicated public servants consistently deliver on their responsibilities.
