The festival, themed “Taste Beyond Borders,” attracted residents who enjoyed live music and a wide range of delicacies showcasing diverse food cultures across Lagos.

Governor Sanwo-Olu said the festival was designed to bring families together, encourage relaxation and use food as a medium to tell the Lagos story through culture and diversity.

He noted that through the Ministry of Agriculture and Food Systems, the state government has empowered numerous entrepreneurs in the food and agriculture value chain over the past six years.

The governor said the ministry has implemented interventions that support food security, innovation and opportunities for small-scale food business owners to grow and thrive.

Sanwo-Olu added that the festival also provides a platform for caterers and food innovators to gain visibility while allowing families to enjoy quality time together.
