President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has commissioned three major infrastructure projects in Lagos State aimed at improving traffic flow, strengthening governance, and enhancing urban development.
Eko Hot News reports that the President, represented by Godswill Akpabio, officially inaugurated the 5.04km Opebi-Mende-Ojota Link Bridge, the Lagos State Geographic Information Service (LAGIS) Building, and the Multi-Agency Administrative Complex now renamed the Bola Ahmed Tinubu Administrative Complex—located in Alausa.

The projects are designed to address long-standing challenges in traffic congestion and land administration across Lagos, Nigeria’s commercial hub.
The Opebi-Mende-Ojota Link Bridge, a major engineering project revived under Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu, is expected to significantly ease traffic along the Ikeja-Maryland-Ojota corridor. The governor noted that the bridge resolves critical bottlenecks that have affected commuters for years.
In the area of governance, the newly commissioned LAGIS Building introduces a fully digital and data-driven land administration system. The facility includes an advanced eGIS Data Centre designed to improve transparency, strengthen property rights, and enhance ease of doing business in Lagos.

The Multi-Agency Administrative Complex, a modern multi-storey structure, will accommodate several government offices, helping to streamline operations and improve service delivery across ministries and agencies.
President Tinubu commended the Lagos State Government for raising the bar in infrastructure delivery, while Governor Sanwo-Olu reiterated that the projects would improve the quality of life for residents and support sustainable urban growth.

The commissioning forms part of broader efforts by the Lagos State Government to deliver impactful infrastructure, with additional projects such as the Tolu Schools Complex and Lagos Food Logistics Hub also highlighted as key developments.
