The Lagos State Government has intensified efforts to promote safety awareness among students through targeted training programmes.

Eko Hot News reports that over 1,000 students of State Junior High School, Oyewole in Agege were trained on the proper use of emergency toll-free lines 767 and 112.

The sensitisation programme was organised by the Lagos State Command and Control Centre (LSCCC).

It forms part of the government’s broader strategy to build a safety-conscious society.

Officials noted that educating young people is key to spreading safety information within communities.

The General Manager of LSCCC, Femi Kennedy Giwa, was represented by the Director of Administration and Human Resource, Adeyinka Adeeso.

The school’s principal, Olabimpe Balogun, commended the Lagos State Government for the initiative.
