The Lagos State Government has reaffirmed its commitment to expanding wellness tourism with its participation in The Art of Wellbeing wellness experience held at Isimi Resort, Epe.
Eko Hot News reports that the Lagos State Commissioner for Tourism, Arts and Culture, Mrs Toke Benson-Awoyinka, was represented at the event by the Deputy Director of Tourism, Mr Emmanuel Benson Okwuokenyen, on Sunday, December 14, 2025.

Other dignitaries in attendance included the Senior Special Assistant to the Governor on Tourism, Arts and Culture, Miss Damilola Ayinde-Marshal; the Managing Director of Sterling Bank, Mr Abubakar Suleiman; and the bank’s Head of Tourism and Creative Business, Ms Abiola Adelana.
The wellness experience was organised by Sterling Bank in collaboration with the Lagos State Government to promote wellness-focused tourism and healthy lifestyle initiatives across the state.

Participants were treated to a carefully curated programme designed to support holistic wellbeing, encouraging relaxation, mental balance, and reconnection with nature.
Highlights of the event included wellness circuits, artisanal displays, culinary showcases, wine tastings, and art exhibitions set within the serene environment of Isimi Resort.
Organisers noted that the initiative aims to showcase destinations that offer premium wellness experiences for residents and visitors alike.

The event signals the start of broader efforts to position Lagos as a leading hub for wellness and lifestyle tourism while enhancing the overall quality of life.
