The Lagos State Lands Bureau has commenced stakeholder engagement on the planned remodelling of the Orisan Waterfront Scheme in Lagos.
Eko Hot News reports that the Permanent Secretary of the Bureau, Kamar Olowoshago, through the Executive Secretary of the Land Use Allocation Committee (LUAC), Ololade Ajetunmobi, met with allottees of the Orisan Waterfront Scheme located in Epe Local Government Area to sensitise them on the proposed remodelling plans.

The initiative is aimed at improving infrastructure and land use efficiency within the scheme.
It also reflects the state government’s commitment to sustainable urban development.
The meeting, held on March 16, 2026, at the Bureau’s Conference Room, provided a platform to outline the objectives and expected benefits of the Orisan Waterfront Scheme remodelling project.
Speaking during the session, Ajetunmobi explained that the initiative is designed to enhance the layout, infrastructure, and overall functionality of the scheme in line with Lagos State’s urban planning framework.
She stressed the need for cooperation among allottees, noting that their support is critical to ensuring the smooth and successful execution of the remodelling exercise.

The LUAC Executive Secretary further assured stakeholders of the Bureau’s commitment to transparency, fairness, and continuous engagement throughout the planning and implementation phases.
In their response, the allottees commended the Lagos State Lands Bureau for the proactive engagement and expressed appreciation for being adequately informed about the Orisan Waterfront Scheme remodelling process.

They also pledged their full support towards ensuring the successful transformation of the waterfront scheme.
The remodelling initiative is expected to significantly improve land administration, infrastructure development, and long-term sustainability within the Orisan Waterfront Scheme.
