The Ikosi-Ejinrin LCDA administration has continued its steady drive to improve critical community infrastructure, with the ongoing facelift and rehabilitation of the Agbowa Primary Health Centre (PHC) progressing significantly.
Eko Hot News reports that the renovation of the PHC staff quarters is now at an advanced stage, marking a major milestone in the Akogun Wale Raji Anomo–led administration’s commitment to upgrading healthcare facilities across IKOSI-EJINRIN. The works completed so far include major structural rehabilitation, ceiling replacement, plumbing installations, new windows, and full electrical rework to enhance functionality.

The project has also delivered visible external improvements such as roof repair, refurbished fence railings, installation of the facility gate, and complete repainting to enhance the overall appearance of the health centre and its surroundings. With staff quarters nearing completion, attention is now set to shift toward the main PHC building, kicking off the next phase of development aimed at transforming the facility into a standard, well-equipped healthcare centre.
Executive Chairman Otunba-Akogun Wale Raji Anomo stated that the renovation aligns with the administration’s broader strategy of strengthening primary healthcare delivery across IKOSI-EJINRIN. He emphasized that improved living and working conditions for healthcare workers are essential to delivering efficient and responsive healthcare services to residents.

The council reaffirmed its commitment to completing the Agbowa PHC project within the scheduled timeframe while also intensifying plans for similar upgrades in other health facilities across IKOSI-EJINRIN LCDA.
