Education District III has presented letters of deployment to a new batch of teachers recruited into Lagos State public schools. The ceremony was held at the District Headquarters in Falomo, Ikoyi.
Eko Hot News reports that the Tutor-General/Permanent Secretary, Education District III, Mr Olusegun Olawale Osinaike, charged the newly deployed teachers to uphold excellence and professionalism in their duties.
He emphasised that teachers play a pivotal role in shaping students’ academic growth and character development across the state.

Mr Osinaike urged the educators to demonstrate dedication, diligence, and a strong sense of responsibility in their respective schools.
He also stressed the importance of maintaining high standards of conduct, both inside and outside the classroom, describing the teaching profession as noble and highly respected.

The TG/PS advised the teachers to dress professionally at all times, noting that appearance reflects the dignity of the profession.
He further encouraged them to familiarise themselves with the Public Service Rules and other relevant regulations guiding their employment.

According to him, strict adherence to established procedures is critical to effective service delivery within the education system.
The teachers were also urged to be adaptable, resilient, and innovative in applying their skills to enhance learning outcomes.

After a detailed briefing on their roles and responsibilities, the recruits were directed to report immediately to their assigned schools.
The deployment exercise underscores Education District III’s commitment to strengthening quality teaching through the recruitment of competent and motivated educators.
